Elon Musk starts effort to track and defame journalists' and media outlets' who expose his corruption

Billionaire Elon Musk says he is going to create a website where users can track and rate the credibility of journalists, editors, and publications.

In a series of tweets Wednesday, Musk vowed to start the website touting his "faith" in people and their quest for truth.

"Going to create a site where the public can rate the core truth of any article & track the credibility score over time of each journalist, editor & publication. Thinking of calling it Pravda," Musk tweeted.

"Pravda" is Russian for "truth" and also the name of a Russian newspaper that is currently run by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

Musk also said the site will block bots and seek to unmask anyone running a "disinformation bot army."

Earlier in the day, Musk went on a Twitter tirade claiming that people have lost respect for the "holier-than-thou" media companies.

Musk also claimed reporters are under constant pressure to attract clicks and advertising dollars from "fossil fuel companies."
